Our Stay & Train programs are our most popular! Your dog will be introduced to and work on the following during a Stay & Train program:

Our training takes place in a home environment, allowing your dog to experience real-life situations before they encounter them in your own home. This approach not only helps your dog build confidence in everyday settings but also makes the transition back to your home smoother and less stressful. For added peace of mind, our kennel room is equipped with a camera, so we can check in as needed when we step out.
Our programs place a strong emphasis on your dog’s state of mind. We’re not just aiming for obedience, we’re committed to fostering calmness, contentment, and emotional balance, ensuring your dog is not only following commands but also feeling at ease in various situations.
These programs provide an excellent foundation, but the journey doesn’t end here. Consistency and maintenance are key, and there will be ongoing work for you at home. If you're looking for a quick fix or a "robot-dog" solution, this program may not be the right fit. Real, lasting success comes when you continue to engage with your dog and hold them accountable to what they’ve learned.
3 Week Stay & Train Program

Our most popular program. This off-leash program is best for a dog who needs some basic overall manners, but does not have any behavioral issues.

$2,700. There is a $500 non-refundable deposit to book your training. The remaining balance will be due when dropping off your dog. Training equipment (e-collar, prong or starmark collar, leash, tab leash, long line, and place bed) is included in the price. You will also receive resources to help keep you successful at home.
4 Week Stay & Train Program

This off-leash program is best for a dog who has any minor behavioral issues; such as, minor reactivity, minor resource guarding, minor aggression, minor separation anxiety, etc. and is looking for a start to a healthier mindset and well behaved dog.

$3,500. There is a $500 non-refundable deposit to book your training. The remaining balance will be due when dropping off your dog. Training equipment (e-collar, prong or starmark collar, leash, tab leash, long line, and place bed) is included in the price. You will also receive resources to help keep you successful at home.
2 Week (Puppy) Stay & Train Program

This two-week program is available to dogs 6months to 1 year old! During this program they will start to learn place, door manners, down, loose leash walking, crate manners, and handling for vet/grooming.

$1,900. There is a $500 non-refundable deposit to book your training. The remaining balance will be due when dropping off your dog. Graduate Single Lesson

If your dog is a graduate of Black Onyx, single 1hr lessons are available to you. These are great to tackle something occurring in your home, get an owner refresh, or just an overall tune-up together!

Single lesson for prior graduates, $120/hr. Mileage fee for anything more than 20miles.
Graduate Boarding

Boarding is available to past graduates, pending availability. Your dog will receive regular potty breaks, playtime, a walk, place time, and all daily care needs. Please inquire in advance—note that boarding is not available during Christmas week.

$50/night, there is a $25 daycare charge if picked up after 12pm on the final day.
Graduate Refresh

Available to prior graduates. Your dog can spend the day with me for a training refresh; tune up, learn something new, or go on an outing!
